Homebody and Entrepreneur
I graduated Magna Cume Laude from Marist College in 1998 with a Bachelor's Degree in Communications and Photography. The fall after graduation I met my dream guy. He's tall, with blonde hair and blue eyes. We were married in 2001.
After my banking career ended I went to school for Nail Artistry. With the help of my parents I opened my own salon which I, along with a hairdresser, work at today.
My daughter was born in 2009 which caused a huge shift in they way we live our lives.
I went back to the salon 3 days a week to be home with her as often as I could. I also began working diligently to build a line of jewelry that will make women feel beautiful, confident and stylish, while still managing to be unique, different, wearable and made from my heart and soul.
Jewelry Designer
I had been designing jewelry for about 4 years before we got the exciting news that I was expecting a girl. When my daughter was born in 2009, after a hiatus from jewelry making, I decided to focus more intently on my jewelry line.
During the last few years I have discovered my passion for metalwork, specifically working with copper.
Aspiring Metalsmith
I am an aspiring metalsmith. What does that mean? I am always learning about working with metal. Forging, hammering, torching, cutting and soldering. I am obsessed with copper and love learning something about this beautiful metal everyday.
A little more...
I live, work and worship in the Hudson River Valley, NY.
We are about 20 minutes from my parents and 10 minutes from my In-Law's.
My husband, Marko is a carpenter, he made all the furniture in my salon.
We are almost finished with the full remodel of my kitchen, which included knocking down 2 walls and adding a nearly 7 foot center island.
I love the smell of books, the color yellow, my Chihuahua Rory, my ipad and afternoon naps with my daughter.
